Error code 144

What fault does this indicate? 'power supply' error code #144

New one on me, happens only when the ignition is turned off just before the LCD display goes off. Not every time either which is strange. Also noticed the LCD display yesterday was a little dimmer than usual are the two faults related?

generic fault indicating nothing i think.
if you turn off power more slowly (ie turn the key slower) it should avoid the problem.

Probably the ECU detecting the power supply is outside the normal range, which is probably going to happen when your turning off the power

I`ve noticed it once or twice but I beleive it can be common enough.
