The wheels are NASTY but I am trying to look beyond them and see the inner beauty......It's a trick I have learnt through many years of going out on 'grab a granny' nights at the Pink Coconut!

It was up for sale for a while privately on Pistonheads. I guess the owner either p/exed it or they are doing a sale or return?

I agree that the wheels are an acquired taste.

Pipes are OTT but car is great could sort that problem quiet quickly though.

I am the owner of the T350T and I agree the wheels are an aquired taste. I bought the with wheels on and I must admit I think they suit the car ( each to there own)

Those " horrid wheels" are standard fit on some Lambos ans Farraris and cost about £900 a corner without the rubber.

I actually priced getting a new back wheel and they come in at £1k delivered !

If the wheels are not to your taste im sure you could sell them ( Car comes with 5 wheels) and easilly have enough for a set of spiders

Why don't you stick a set of original wheels on the car and flog the other wheels? I suspect some prospective buyers are being put off?

It's not the wheels that are putting me off (I quite like them on the car) it's the fact that the car is flagged as a Cat D repair and I am thinking if it's hard to sell now then I will have the same trouble when/if I decided to sell it later.

i remember the car for sale a few months ago,is it not quite unusual for the car not to be sold after all this time. low millage,low money[less than usual] but a bump that i would need more info about. i think anybody genuine about buying the car could see past the wheels,so they,IMO,are not a reason why it didnt sell.blue is not for me but seems a popular colour choice,so im guessing its down to the bump. i think it could well be worth a inspection,but,
maybe the current owner would explain this a bit better to try to get the sale!



edited to say,if i had the money to pay a little higher for a car which has'nt been in an accident,i would. if you dont,and buy a cat d car,you must remember,you paid less for it so when you sell,you must expect to get less for it then.

I have spoken to the dealership and they have given me all the details about the bump and I am not worried about that, it's just the stigma attached to a CAT D car that concerns me.

You will now get lots of people telling you this is not an issue, especially if repaired properly. However, anything like this scares people.

I totally agree! In theory a Cat D, when properly repaired after light damage should be a great buy.
Myself? I'd never buy one. Can't say why exactly, I just wouldn't feel comfortable...

If anyone is serious about purchasing my car then just send me a PM. But the basics are the had a spin in bad weather and buckled a front wheel ( hence the new wheels) this also put a small crack in the nose section. The new wheels were put on the car and put back on the road. They then found out that the oil scav line had been damaged starving the engine on oil which resulted in an engine rebuild. This was claimed for on the insurance aswell as getting the new front section.

I have all the repirs bills and recipts for all the work done and the photos of the engine rebuild.

I must also clafify that it is not a cat D but condition inspected which means that it has been autolign inspected to prove that all the repairs were done correctly .

When I first put the car up for sale I took a deposit within the first week, but the deal fell through with the person loosing there job. Since then I have had 3 offers for the car that I turned down but I was trying to get as much as I could for the car. I am now been more realistic with my pricing.

Also I think I have sourced a set of spiders so if a buyer would prefer these wheels I would swap them over
