I've finally got bored with myself, trying to decide what car to replace my Europa with, and am going to go for a T350 (and keep Lotus
) Been looking, and best option/value is clearly to go for private sale from good owner.
Problem is that I want to part-finance, as can get good rates at the moment and that means private sales are a no-go. When I bought Europa I asked local dealer to help out, and he put it through his books for £200, but was a hassle for him, and don't really want to ask again.
So, are there any TVR "hunters" - brokers etc who specialise in finding/inspecting/negotiating to find right car - I'm based in Edinburgh and short of time to travel around. I don't mean a dealer who buys one in and sells it on to me for an extra £3k, but someone who can find a good car, make it "financeable" and take a fair fee.
There are a couple on sale privately in classifieds that I'd definitely consider if there's a way to finance.
Am thinking blue or titanium, later model, well looked after inside and out, fsh etc, pretty standard apart from any engine/reliability upgrades. C or T.
Have to get it done so I can stop wasting time looking at Classifieds

Thanks for that. Probably wasn't clear - I can get my own finance organised at low rates, but only if bought through a dealer, finances cos won't do private purchase. I'm sure James Agger will fit the bil, will check him out, cheers.
Getting part- finance is a lot easier/cheaper for me than getting a personal loan as have dealt with same guy for years and he takes care of everything.
