Exhaust ?

Can anyone tell me if the two long exhaust pipes on a T350 are one continuous piece?I am asking because I have mine off for putting decats on and they have had a piece of tube welded in to each one where they go under the diff(approx 18in long).It looks a crap job,but not sure why it has been done.Regards,Steve.

I'm fairly sure they're not one continous piece; think they're joined near the diff with [/layman] some sort of compression fitting [layman]. There might be another join further up front, but can't be completely sure.

Someone more knowledgable will soon be along to correct me!
