Can you retro fit AC?

With a number of cars being sold for spares I wonder if you can just buy all the bits and retro fit AC? The reason is that if I find the 'right' car and it doesnt have AC I want to have the option,

For fittment with new parts..however, from a breaker as intimated by the OP, it should cost a lot less.

I asked this question when looking at various Tuscans. The answer was also yes, and i even got offered a few parts via pm. I dont think its difficult given some time and a bit of understanding...
