Starting when warm

From cold I have no problem starting my Sagaris. However once warmed up the starter motor struggles to turn over the engine. Is this potentially a poor negative connection or something else. Does anyone know where the problem might be if it is an loose connection?

Mine used to refuse to start completely once hot, i had to let her cool down for a good hour and a half before she kicked in (conveniently this used to happen in underground car parks!!)

There are a number of possibilities for this i believe: bad earth, low battery or faulty starter motor to name a few.

i had my started upgraded to the new type and had no problems ever since.

Sounds like it could be your starter motor - hot start is a well known problem with the RV8 cars and I'm guessing it's a similar issue on the S6. Something to do with insufficient amps when warm and the motor sticking I think - though I'm in no way technically gifted.
My T350 often turns over slowly with a loud thunk when really hot and is on my to do list in the new year!

Thanks for the input guys, went over all the earths last night.
Found the connections loose on the earth post behind the Battery.
Will find out today if that has solved the problem.
