My new TVR!

After giving up my 330ci in px for a T35O Im hoping all you guys can give me reassurance ive made the right move. I previously owned a tuscan and loved it, got rid for the wrong reasons and regretted it ever since. Always knew id be here again so i just want you to say all the right things so know for sure ive done the right thing. Just someone tell me how good they are, lol.

Biiig mistake. The T350 is crap compared to a 330. You will regret this move. You have been suckered into not following the sheep.

You only need to start it up and go for a quick drive to realise you've made the right move. I nearly sold mine and I'm so glad I didn't.
I can safely say it will be one of the most rewarding and smile inducing cars you'll ever own.

You can buy a 330 any day. Trevors are becoming more sought after every day, I know as I wrote one off a fortnight ago. You will have more smiles per gallon!!

I made the same move from a 330ci with full AC Schnitzer kit two and a half years ago and never looked back. The bm is a very capable car but just too sedate and common. The Tvr is something else and I have a smile on my face every time I drive it.

Currently I'm looking to replace the daily ford puma runabout with another 330ci as I did love the car as a daily drive. However there are now many ropey ones out there.

before you swap those wheels - I would get them dipped black or dark grey, they may be ok like that

Certainly belongs to someone on here - I remember him trying to sell it provately before putting it up with Driven Image, it's the one that was condition inspected?
Nice looking car but personally don't like the wheels.

It has been a great car and never let me down in the 3 1/2 years I have owned it.

The wheels are not to everyones taste , I know they weren't to mine at first but they grew on me.

i remember this car for sale,i think it was quite hard to sell for some reason,was it just the wheels,it was'nt too expensive either if i remember right,theres a set of spiders for sale on ph for 400 pounds,i would change them myself,but thats my personal taste.

anyhow,good luck with the car,but you know,blue t350's are the slowest!

Took a look at the car before choosing my current 'project' a couple of months back as it ws priced right given the miles. Nice team at Driven Images and they did promise to sort the minor bodywork issues, lovely colour btw.

Reckon a new set of bolts in those split rims and a coat of paint on the inner rims and they would set the look off nicely. Wheels did it for me, enjoy

Another thing, did notice the tyres were catching the arches a tad on your new motor showing wear on the inner wings. Worth checking the geometry as the 19" Power rims now fitted to mine required a change to the front and rear camber to clear the arches. A little more preload on the springs helped no end, all is now well.

Not sure of the offset of your rims but TVR Power informed me of the following:

Front Camber 1 deg negative
Rear Toe 40 min in (Total)
Rear Camber 1 deg Neg

Main difference from standard is the rear is a 10" rim, hence the tight fit and need for a slight camber change.

May well not work for your rims, just a suggestion.

The geometry was checked and altered at its last service at trackvroad so the rubbing should have stopped.

Dont let the wheels put you off they are easily changed if they are not to your taste and you could easily sell the wheels for double the price you will buy spiders for.

i cant imagine anybody giving 800 pounds for those wheels?
you would maybe need to pay to get rid of them!
