Removing Airbox

I currently have non operating fans (hence overheating).

Checked the fuses & relays and all seem OK. I understand the favoured culprit is the temperature sensor and I need to remove the airbox to get at it.

The two clips & two allen bolts are obvious but I know there is something else hidden to undo. Could someone let me know what and where it is!

There's another clip on the underside of the trumpets by the throttle bodies that you have to undo. Reach under the airbox and you'll feel it. Be careful when sliding the top off as it's easy to damage.

caught me out the first time as well. Feel round the back of the airbox, about halfway along you'll come across the 3rd clip!

Thanks Guys,

I ordered a new temperature sensor but the weather yesterday was too miserable to fit it. However did move the relays around & replace one and now the (passenger side) fan is coming on (at about an indicated 92)!

I seem to recall that the drivers fan should come on first?

Any pearls of wisdom (other than its working now so leave it alone....)
