T350 Wheel color.

I own a t350t painted in Yamaha R1 blue. The wheels are grey. See my profile for a picture. I have always admired the t350's in similar blue colors such as Imperial blue that have silver wheels. IMHO they look better with silver wheels. The contrast looks quite smart. I have always thought my grey wheels were lost in a cloud of indistinction. Does anyone have a paint code for the silver color that TVR painted their wheels? I am still thinking about the change, but I am getting more serious about it. Any advice or opinions about changing wheel color?

Have a look at my profile pic as my car is Cosmos Blue Met but i keep debating whether to get my wheels powdercoated in something a little lighter than anthracite but very different to the standard silver.

I suppose were a little too far away for a dry-fit swap to see what they look like.....

A brand new set of 18" spiders is only £450 (see the classifieds). Buy some new ones and sell the dark ones? It might work out cheaper and less trouble.

I think it looks OK with the dark wheels but I guess it's personal choice

I'm not sure which silver to use, but I agree that the wheels would look better in a brighter colour. You can also buy the tiny TVR logos for the wheel spokes on PH (and eBay UK I think0.

Personally Scott I think it looks fantastic as is! Cleaner with Silver spiders yes but much much meaner with those dark one's on!

I very much like your car/wheel color combination. Yes we have a little too much water between us to make a swap and see possible.

Have a think about shadow chrome comes in between had my car done at www.wheelgenie.co.uk some photo's of my T350 and Kev's Sagaris on there site. They use a black base and chrome on top, more chrome on the outer/uppermost surfaces fading into the black having had anthracite on a dark car then the silver to start with on the present T I didn't want to go as dark as anthracite but felt the silver did not quite lift the colour. Probaly about five or six people that have now used this combo in the Cambs region

I personally really like the shadow chrome look and is the route I will go down next Spring when I get the wheels ready and pristine for summer.
