The Yellow 03 or Purple 05 cars in the classifieds ? (sorry, don't know how to copy links on my iPhone). I had quite a modified e46 M3 which has now been returned to standard and really fancy something a bit more involving to drive, would love a Sagaris but they're a little more than I want to spend on an outright purchase is the difference really worth 15 K ?

Sorry cant help with those T350's but do/did you frequent Evotecnik quite a bit? I think I recognise the name from when I had my BM's but I switched to a T350 in Oct 2007 and have loved every minute since.

The yellow one was Valhalla http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?mem... He bought it from new, sold it a couple of years ago. He doesn't come on here very often now.

Stubs, Yes that`s me. What were you driving back then ? How do you find the build quality/reliability ??

If we're talking about the same car mine is the 'purple' 05 one. I've now decided to keep it as I can't find anything better to replace it without spending twice the price or more. Even then I don't think it would match it IMHO.

Exactly why I bought my car back - nothing out there compares as an all-rounder. Plus depreciation has nearly stopped altogether. I love the Maserati Gran Turismo S but its more of a GT, I love the Audi R8 but its physically too large and not worth 60k+, I don't love Porsches...

Ah I thought so - I was driving a 330ci with 19" ACS III rims and a few other bits that was great but just not special enough.

The T350 has only let me down twice and one of those was through user error, and the other was the original battery replacing so all routine stuff.

The key with these cars is to keep on top of the little niggles (as there are more than anything German) and you'll be fine. I expected these so dont have an issue with them at all. I budget a minimum of £1k for a 6k service and £2k for a 12k service which should take care of any ongoing stuff and slight upgrades when necessary.

Just remember they are different cars and different propositions. A TVR will never be German! although I have tried to buy-back my old 330ci to replace my daily runner, but at the moment the guy wants too much £££ for it.
