T350/Sag Rear Quarter Windows

Just wondering what all you fellow T350/Sag owners use on your plastic rear quarter windows? Mine have a few scratches and could do with a spruce up.

I have been looking at Meguiars PlastX but not sure on its suitability or effectiveness. Any recommendations or alternatives?

Used plastic x on rear window of my Tam with great effect,without any swirls atall!! Brings all blemishes off great guns!

Having a retrim and the rear quarters have been removed. Clean carefully guys, £150 a pair + fitting which is quite an involved proces I'm told.

Its just 2 triangular bits of formed plastic for christ sake!

Been thinking about changing mine but that's a lot of cash, who is doing yours out of interest?

Refitted mine and a pig of a job not for the fainthearted.

KRJ Trimmers in Middlewich are doing the refit and they get a specialsit fitter to do it as the windscreens out for the dash trim and they do both. Believe the black trim around the perspex plus trimming and bonding is a 2 day job and very easy to make a hash off.

Happy to leave to the professionals, just gobsmaked at the price when you see the offending items in the flesh! Still, when your spending thick end of £3k on the trim its small potatoes!

So no-one at all used plast-x on the rear quarter windows? By the sounds of things the last thing I need is to mess them up with the Meguiars stuff and then have to replace the windows anyway...

You could try any kind of plastic cleaner. I'll have a go at mine with some Renovo plastic rear screen reviver one day... Just be careful not to push too hard from the inside or you may create a repair you didn't need before you started...

You can flat and polish all the quarter lights on T350 AND SAG, Tuscan rear windows and headlamp pod covers on others starting at 1000s grit if really bad and going down to 1500s or 2000s. Then buff with Farecla G3 or similar.
