car drives superb, and when looking at her the lcd screen worked well and was shown how to change the functions started out on way home showing the basic fuel guage etc, noticed half way home the display had gone and could see very very faintly at certain angles but cant seem to get the display back up solid.. history shows a new lcd about 2k back am i missing something thanks guys

yes so far seems a bargin just needs a good wash and valet, superb service history etc know people say yu get what yu pay for but at this early stage seems fine, just done a 80 mile drive and all is well excepting the display hope its just a simple set up , as the unit is only 2 k old thanks again and fingers crossed

Did you turn the lights on, and the display went? If so, go through the functions, and turn the display up to 100%.

Well done, it did look a bargain. I was keeping an eye on it for when the insurance pay out on my Chimaera. Keep us up to date on how it goes.

Go into the setup menu by going to the screen that shows no display, and then push both buttons at the same time. Scroll into setup, and go through the menus from there.

have got the menu up and taken most of the settings up high with about 98% on all settings with no lights reads easy sides ok but not that brill main head hard to read ?? am i still missing some thing ??? derrr

Havent got the manual to hand butI think you can adjust the contrast aswell as the brightness levels.

There are two different settings to adjust.

Brightness/Contrast for off/side/dipped which I use 90-90-60 / 80-80-45

The level of illumination from the led's can also be set for off/side/dipped I Use 0-50-90

Sounds like the backlight of the display has died - even if it's new. Had the same with mine shortly before Dover, just the day after I bought my T350. You'll need to replace it - it's not complicated - about 2 hours and you're set. You can get the display from any one of the well-known suppliers .

think the lcd doesnt like the cold been in the sun today and not a hint of an issue such a strange breed!!

Sound like the connector behind the pod is loose. On the up side when you come to sell it it wont have done many more miles than when you bought it

the reading is still on the screen but was very very faint so still reading the info all seems ok since the warmer weather today

oh what .....wife normally drives any car including chims and cerbs etc but struggles with this as has trouble seeing past the bonnet !!! must say its not the easiest for her..

so any one want a quick bargain?? back on the market any inspection welcome same car just a fair bit cleaner..or I will have to just drive it myself..into the summer hard life aint it ..

400-bhp, you forgot to mention the top end is knackered, good effort though in punting it out, SP6'S only sell cheap for a reason!

will sell or keep it really doesnt matter to me. but we always have a summer car that we both can drive and my wife drives the cerb and chims dead easy thought this would be just as easy but its a no go as too low ? and cant see over the front end and the different style clutch pedal she finds bit awkward,
it is a little frustrating when you get remarks from other ph members who for some reason like to put dampers on cars and try to dash peoples names along the way.. so could well end up keeping her to prove a point, she is looking real good after a nice polish up.. so the situation is its on sale but wil also be having fun with her the wife will be a passenger.. just to add the car had a service in oct about 400 miles ago and having spoken to them had nothing bad to report. they have known the car for just over three half yrs..

You know you can get the pedal box adjusted (forward) and improve the seat base support to help with the long nose. I am 5.8" and don't have a clue what goes on at the end of the bonnet. It just teaches you to be more careful!
