Machine Polishing

Speaking to a chap briefly on Saturday and he mentioned machine polishing with a D3 or G3 type of polish (can't remember exactly?) to eliminate any minor scratches and really give it that 'new' look again.

Does anyone have any more info on this? Where it could be done (presumalby this is 'professional' service and i certainly don't have a machine to polish. Sorry it's a bit vague but i'm sure someone will know what i'm going on about!?

All you need to know

You'll need a machine to get rid of the swirls ideally, you won't get rid of many (if any) by hand.

You could give James from Auto Finesse a call 01920 461920 or 07920 044333 he did a great job on the Reflex Charcoal Tuscan I had and the wifes bimmer cant recommend him enough.

As above!

Go to the 'STUDIO' section where you can see my Tuscan 2 convertible that has just been professionally detailed by Jay at Gleamingkleen, he has done a fantastic job, can't recommend him highly enough. The car is on its way to paintsheild next for 'wrapping'!!
It really is worth having done by someone who really knows what they are doing as TVR paint isn't the greatest and levels of thickness over the car really vary.
Mine is Reflex Charcoal and at £650 a litre I wasn't going to have a go myself!!

Have a look at his website, amazing stuff, and he genuinly loves TVR's and a good guy to talk to.

thanks guys. can they get they stone chips out by doing this too? i have a few in the front, but nothing too major.

Stone chips are not a problem for the proffesionals like Auto Finesse

It's farcela G3. 3M green top is better as it does not fling off as much.
