HIDs Fitted - Pics...

After the last post re: upgrading the lights, i have opted for some HIDs.

Haven't had chance to use them in the dark yet as only got them fitted this morning (cheers to the guys at "The TVR Centre", always do an excellent job)...

Looks nice - was it costly if you don't mind me asking?
Had any problems with the plate and spacing as I am looking at similar?

Have they fitted digital ballasts do you know and have they caused any issues with radio reception or the dash backlight like the ones I fitted 2 yrs ago? If not it might be worth me upgrading my ballasts now...

It might be worth getting some led sidelights to match the colour of the HID's - I think I got mine for a tenner from Ace Parts??? And they are called super bright 180's If I remember correctly. They look really good too (don't have any decent pics though)

slim: £250 all in, takes a while as it's a fiddly job to get to the lights. No issues with the plate, touch wood, seems to be ok with plod at the mo.

stub: not sure if they were digital ballasts, i'm guessing they were. They don't cause any issues with dash or radio as far as i can tell. Cheers for the info re: the side lights, i was going to ask people's advice on that as it will really finish it off well. I should have thought about that prior to getting the HIDs done as could have done it all at once. I havent had the full beam done, but may get round to it, will see how it goes.

That's a good sensible priced mod - especially for the work to be done for you.
Thanks for the info re the plate - I quite like the font as well.

Font is standard uk 3d. Completely legal.
