Rubber windsreen 'seal'

At the lower right hand side of my windscreen the rubber seal that overlaps the less tidy aspects of TVR windscreens has lifted. Is this just a case of sticking it back (if so recommendations for suitable sticky stuff welcome) or is it supposed to run in a groove ( in which case the 'tongue' element must have detached)?

My Sag went in for service in Feb and was noticed by guys at HHC that the rubber had lifted and the 'tingue' bit was missing. Autoglass firm came and lifted window out and resealed the rubber

Car is in storage as I am overseas at work, will let you know how it is when I get driving the car again
