Best decat for my sagaris?

Im after a decat for my sagaris that sounds good and doesnt make the engine loose pover/torque if possible. Im after ordering one straight away so if anyone can give me a website or details that would be great.

Mine are ACT decats bought through Dan Taylor, they are a really good bit of kit and do exactly what you're after.

You may want to hear "before & after" on other cars. I had decats on my Tuscan which sounded great coupled with the low end burble of sleeved cans, but on the Sagaris... no, no, no. Too tinny, rattly and chav sounding. Plus the hassle of chipping and re-map, otherwise you will lose torque. I went back to originals to get the grunt and growl back. Just my opinion and personal preference.

Surely that will depend what cans you have on the back?

So what's the best way to introduce 'sound' attitude to the Sag to match the looks ? I've also been toying with the idea of a decat. Love the pops at 2.5k under engine breaking but it's all too infrequent and you only get to pull 4.5k now and again in town

I had the chance recently to listen to Biggriffs Sagaris after he had a new set of pipes installed from the cats back, main box silencer removed and pipework routed straight to a set of silenced cans.
Produces a much deeper exhaust note without raising the sound level by a great deal, it was as close as I have heard to the TVR Power sports system for the T350s which personally is the best sound to come from any of the T cars.
Richard had his done in oval pipe to increase ground clearance which increased the cost considerably according to Schole Engineering who carried out the alteration, however with the box being replaced with circular pipework they reckoned on about £250 for the work.
Have booked mine in for a few weeks time.
Only thing to watch out for is they reckon that with the standard sleeved Sagaris cans the system is too loud.

I just love my Sag as it is, thought I put a CR box and up'd the diff to 3.91, with some 19" jades - it still makes me grin everytime im out in her

Possibly thinking of the 4.3 engine upgrade end of the year

Had my Sagaris decat-ed by Martin at Racing Green.........now it def sounds as insane as it looks.....

problem with exhaust mods are that i find the sound characteristics change over time. i put power 'silencers' on my tamora, and it sounds completely different now to when they were first fitted. something to do with deposit build up i think. it sounds much better now, and if i get the revs right on lift off, it's like a bad day in baghdad.

Yeah seem on TVR power yesterday and asked for some info on the 4.5 upgrade
