Seat belts - rubbish.....

I know this has been covered before but does anyone produce a decent set of replacement belts for the T350? I do enjoy the various quirks of the car but I do think the belts are pushing it - got to be on the level, facing east with a prevailing northerly wind on a Monday whilst whistling Dazed and Confused or they lock when you try to put them on etc etc. The passenger side is the worst but the driver's side isn't much better - usually locks when I'm leaning forward trying to see to get out of my drive, pins me to the bloody seat and I've got to stick the nose out and keep my fingers crossed!

Only one other car I have ever owned does this and it was a 1972 MGB with replacement roller belts............rubbish.

While they can be a bit easy to lock on a slope, I've never had any major problems. I suggest replacing with new standard seat belts. Alternatively, if you take one out perhaps you can get the specs and find an alternative online (how different are different seatbelts anyway?).

After six years of ownership you get to know how to handle them! Bit like a wife I guess.

My solution was to fit harnesses after manufacturing a harness bar, thread on here of my bar.
However Paul at X Works Service had a brutal way of sorting my originals which are still there for MOT purposes. I remember him using a hammer and a bar on the bottom connection!!
