First Drive !

Well, I finally got to have a real go in her yesterday, on her return from the MOT. What a blast ! The sound is awesome and the acceleration is phenomenal ! Major clean up needed now and the interior needs some major TLC, but the drive has refuelled my desire after a long hard slog to get it this far.

Noticed a vibration which seemed to grow steadily worse from around 90 m.p.h. Seemed to be from the rear although I could be mistaken. Also, although hard to explain, the rear end seemed to skip round tight corners. Any ideas guys ?

Glad it's now road worthy and road legal. You problem could be many things. Obviously, before digging too deep, first you should check the tyre pressure and wheel balance (and check the wheels are round, not bent at the same time). Are the wheels/tyres on the right way round?

What was the damage/repair on the car? Could this have caused a problem?

Edited to add: Oh, and drive carefully while you bed the car back in - you'd saved the car, don't lose it now!

Hi Targarama
The wheels are brand new with tyres on the correct way. It was frontal damage, so I don`t think this was the problem but you never know I suppose. Think i`ll get the geo done with the upcoming service just to be sure.
