Dipstick Dilemma

Hi - when checking my oil for the first time since getting the car a couple of weeks ago, the actual stick bit came away from the cap. The stick won't fall in but it is not ideal. I either try and re-attach in which case can anybody suggest a good 'gunk' or buy a new one. I tried Leven website but they seem to only have one for a Tuscan? Anybody purchased a 'revised' one or should I just buy a standard one. Suggestions appreciated.

I have some 'double bubble' resin (like araldite) that works a treat (used it on mine and its stayed stuck) PM me your address and I will send you a pouch
