Tam ally rad

Hi all again :-) is the aftermarket ally radiator a good mod to go for on the tamora? They are £395 and wondered if it was good money spent. This car is very different from my chim lol :-)

I have one on my T350 as the original sprang a leak - something they are very prone to. It's a little more expensive than an OEM part but worth it to alleviate the aforementioned problem. Some report slight drops in running temps as well but thats not something I noticed.

As Zippe said good upgrade but I would do it when your rad fails. I have one on my Tam and it does keep the temp down. It does not have the plastic side tanks like the std rad which can cause issues where they are crimped to the body of the rad.

Frankly I wouldn't waste my money. Unless you're running a super modified engine then the std cooling system works pretty well. Save your pennies and get a 'std' recore. Of course I'm sure it will do no harm either.

Some people seem to get through rads more quickly than others (even 2nd/3rd replacements so its not a factory defect). I'm not sure why, but mine has been in for 6 years from new with no problems (I thought I had a leak a month or two back, it turned out to be a hose needing tightening).
