I wish I was, but I foolishly booked a holiday over this date and we're going away tomorrow for a week. Look like the ash-gods are on my side too. I was kind of looking forward to postponing the holiday and then being at Chatsworth, the forecast looks good!

Sadly me neither. Was all set to stop off at Chatsworth on the way north, to kick off our tour of Scotland. Unfortunately Mrs LT's mum has been diagnosed with the C word in the last 2 months, so all plans have been abandoned. I was going to try and at least just get to Chatsworth, but it just ain't going to happen. I hope its a good one for anyone going, maybe next year.

I'll be there - heading up on the Saturday with 4 or 5 others from Herts/Beds and staying at the Manor in Dronfield.

Will be bringing the T350 down on Sunday with the Warwickshire and West Midland TVRCC crew, not sure about Sat (only due to petrol costs of going both days!!!)

Depends on how pissed I get at the wedding on Saturday night and how dry the weather is but aiming to be there by about 10:30ish

Gutted I can't make it again but the wife is running the marathon again so been I've been left in charge of the official Mrs Lensey cheering point

Thanks for the comments Zip & Madbadger - hope its a good one for you. Last night had another discussion about potentially coming up just for the Sunday, but an 8 hour round trip in a day from down south is not realistic.

Good luck to Mrs Lensey - dont know how so many people do it, personally I would rather put a personal appendage in a blender than run 26 miles for fun.

Hi Laser, unfortunately she isn't doing it for fun, her Mum passed away three weeks ago from the dreaded C, the wife is running it to raise funds for Farleigh Hospice who were great during the last few days, we hoped that her mum would be there to watch but sadly that wasn't too be so there are quite a few of us going to cheer her on as I know its going to be very emotional for her

(Sorry - going a bit of thread topic)...I'm sure it will be emotional. Sympathies and even more good luck to Mrs L then. My BiL runs it every year (for fun and charity) and he said the boost he got from seeing us at the side of the road cheering him on was fantastic, so I hope you spot them along the way.
