Very long shot.......help needed with stuck throttle

Morning ,

Planning on my first Chatsworth this weekend but my car broke last night .

Quite entertaining really - suddenly went to full revs ( or thereabouts as I didn't wait to find out exactly what revs it leapt to) independent of my R foot. V nice chap from RAC with a low loader got me home.

Just wondering if any bright sparks out there can give me a steer re fault finding (I'm presuming this is an electronic problem ? sensor somewhere). I am going to give SSCC a ring this am but any input welcome. Otherwise it will be a rather anticlimactic viist to the gathering in my Landrover.....

All is well now and I shall go to the ball....

Oddly enough checked all the throttle linkages this am as per Steve at SSCC ( I thought it was fly by wire ..Doh .. really should explore the engine bay a bit more) and no problem so started it and seems fine. Will be lubing everything and keep my fingers crossed. If you see a broken down dark red T350c give me a wave!
