TVR meets in North West 2010?

Hello, i am relatively new to Pistonheads even though i got my account a long time ago and never used it, anyway enough of that, i currently live in Cheshire between Crewe and Nantwich and i am a massive TVR enthusiast, being only 17 i cant drive or afford one yet but would love to attend a meeting where i can see the Blackpool Rockets up close. I tried the TVR owner's club website, clicked on calendar but it will not let me view it as i am not a member so i was wondering would anyone here be kind enough to let me know if there are any TVR happenings organised by the TVR club or just yourselves which i will be able to attend (I don't mind travelling to other regions such as Midlands). I am a massive fan of the Tamora, T350 and Sagaris. Any help will be appreciated.

Check out the events page and you will see a small group local to Crewe who meet up about once a month (South Cheshire Posse). Come and say hello.

I take it that is on Pistonheads and not the TVR Club?

Thanks, i have just been looking at some of the posts on the South Cheshire Posse Thread, i recognise most of the places you meet up, i noticed that some peeps are going to chatsworth, that sounds like a good event, when do u and the other pistonheads people you know next plan to meet up i wouldn't mind popping along if that is ok.
Your T350 is stunning, i have seen you in Nantwich a few times, have u had the exhaust changed to an aftermarket one becasue yours is bloody loud.

the 2nd Tuesday of the month in Lymm, or just outside, the pub is called 'Home' and over the next few months should see about 40 cars in the car park, not sure about Sagaris but plenty of speed six cars. COme early and you should get a few trips up the road and back.

I'm one of the South cheshire posse and also attend the Cheshire/Manc/Scouse meetings. Pop along, sure you'll be made welcome. The TVRCC meet's a bit more formal, the South Cheshire Posse is more of a general tyre kick/chat sort of thing. Handy for me because I can't always get to the TVRCC meets because of work. The S6 boys may be outnumbered by the RV8 boys though

PS South Cheshire Posse have Chims, T350, a Tam, Wedges, Griffs and whoever else fancies turning up. I'll be the one in the Dark blue L Reg Chim. And, yes, there are monkey stickers on the back

Hi Adam,

What's there not to like about Tivs!!
I am in Crewe and attend both the local meet near Crewe and also the Lyme meet at 'home'. There is usually a Sag and a couple of Tuscs at that one but it does depend on the weather and if everyone is one holiday!. I think the Northern gathering is in Blackpool in September, and there will be a lot of Speed6 cars there to see and hear.
As for the South Cheshire Posse, you're more likely to end up wanting a RoverV8 after you have been seduced by the noise of the V8!

yesterday afternoon was the latest south cheshire posse meeting but i think the next cheshire tvr meeting is next tuesday evening in lymm

There is also a Tatton Park Classic and Sports Car show later this month - can't remember if it's 21 ans 22 August (Sat/Sun). Google Tatton Park for the dates. The TVRCC have a stand there and there will be around 30-40 fabulous TVRs for you to see. I went to the one in June, but am not able to attend this month's. Lots of other great cars as well.
