I've replaced my Anderson connector twice due to decay of the +ve pole.

In my opinion the presence of the connector in its current location is dangerous as the live +ve can break off due to corrosion and short the battery out.

It should have some type of high current circuit breaker or RCD short detector on it.

So has anyone redesigned this and fitted an alternative jump lead port?

Well i know its not really about the jump point but to prevent all that jump starting melarcy i had hard wired into the rear of my Sag a C-Tek charger fitted and hard wired direct into the rear boot light wiring by Racing Green. They convert nearly all their TVRs down there im told by Chris. Its just so easy.

Just undo the boot, plug into the mains then close the boot and never worry bout flat battery again. Easy!!!!

We sell C-Tek chargers at Greentrees-Adventurestore.co.uk if it helps. There by far the best charger out there.
