Insuring?

I've just brought a TVR T350 and am having trouble insuring the thing!! I'm 26 with not many years no claims but I've tried Adrian flux and unless I want to pay £2400, they don't want to know!! I've had the car over a week now but am yet to properly go out in it!! Any help would be grateful as I don't have a clue wherelse to try, thanks???

Don't you check insurance quotes before purchasing any car?

Yeh normally i do but I just didn't realise it would be £2000+ for an 2003 tvr. I'm 26 and had seen previous forums where people aged younger than me had insurance for around £900??

I wanted the t350 or griff 500 but the cheapest I could get was £2000

I'm 25 with 1ncb but am gonna wait another year and see how it is.

Looks like your going to have to bite to bullet and pay the £2k.

I wouldn't want to have a £20k car on the road that's uninsured.

Yeh I live by bluewater shopping centre and to be honest it's not the best of areas, full of theives!

I live in Croydon which is one of the worst places to live in regards to car insurance

hopefully next year insurance will be a bit more tolerable

Just got my quote back from msm, £550! Really happy with that considering Adrian flux and a few others quoted me over £2000 so thanks alot to every1 who recommended msm.

They seem pretty cheap - are they any good? Has anyone had to claim? Who underwrites the policies?

Do msm offer trackday cover I've just booked 4 track days inc Spa and with mannings I'm fully comp on the lot.

Not sure if they do track days etc. They lady on the phone was really helpfull and said they dealt mainly for the specialist vehicle and realise how hard it is for some1 around 25 years old with not many ncb to get insured. So give them ago for track days, should be ok
