I have increasingly noticed that it is taking a little more effort to get the Tam into gear, not crunching bit seems stiffer. Reverse has started crunching, even if I put it into 5th and then down to reverse. Having read on here that this maybe the symptoms of the clutch going.
However, on a thread on here I read about adjusting the stopper on the clutch pedal to give it some more travel. I have done so, may be 5 to 10mm, but it doesn't seem to have made a great deal of difference.
My question is - how much can I move the stopper? Is there any bad consequences of doing so, other than having to put my foot down further on the clutch?
Increasingly concerned that a new clutch may be required. Its done 16k miles by the way.

That's it then. Sorry new clutch required.
Some good deals can be had for £700 +VAT, but may need a slave too.
