Just gone to take car out and reversing of the drive I could hear a misfire, I have found out that no3 injector is not putting any fuel into the engine.

Any thoughts of what I can test or try before I arrange recovery to a garage.

Barry, try swapping injectors and see if it's the injector or a problem with lead/power/fueling

Does anybody know if you can swap the leads around on the injectors, ie do they bank fire or are they sequential.
Before I remove the fuel rail.

Injector is fine, I have no power to the injector. Does the injector wiring lead striaght back to the ecu?

I have Grahams Sag manual is the ecu the same on a Tam to a Sag if so it must be a break in the wiring somwhere as they bank fire 1,2,3, & 4,5,6,
Looks to be a negative trigger

Thoughts?

Do a temporary neg loop then barry to 1 or 5

I think they bank fire but would like some confirmation before i go joining wires. I have traced it back to the bulkhead plug and I have continuity on the engine loom
I'm going to drop the ecu and try the other way

Graham does you ecu have 3 plugs or 1 large one as the manual diagram looks like 1 large plug and it has an obd plug which mine does not have i have 3 plugs on the ecu

Just bring the neg on 3 back to ground, leave the white alone

Confused now mate

The injector has a red & white going to it the red has +12 I presume the white is a neg control from the ecu
With my meter on it I get nothing
If i test the red seperatly I have +12
all the others have a voltage which changes with revs

Sorry Barry,

Sag is different then,

Just go steady and you will crack it, its a wire somewhere i think

Just linked inj 2 wiring onto inj 3 and now have 6 cylinders

Think the fault must be between the ecu and the bulkhead
