Cold idle, 60-70psi, hot idle 20-25psi. Never really looked while its above idle, suffice to say it reads higher psi than idle. Gauge is only a guide though and I wouldn't swear by it, unless I knew exactly how it compared to a calibrated mechanical gauge plumbed into the block.

I've had two sensors on the Sag, both have read the same values..
From cold (< 20c) its 60 to 65psi
Warm (~70c) its 19psi at 800rpm rising to ~50psi above 3000rpm
At hot (>80c) its about 16psi at 800rpm, but rises to ~50psi >3000rpm
The air-con will suck a few psi and I've seen 13psi whilst idling (engine is very hot) with the air-con on.

I presume you mean that the loss of pressure with A/C on is due to the reduction in revs? From cold (< 20c) its 60 to 65psi

Depends on the sensor
I've had three =- but reliable ones show about 48-50 PSi on cold start up, just over 40 psi ( 41-44)at 3000 revs when warm - drops a bit when service is due. Hot tickover - about 9-11 ( engine temp approx 89-96 degrees)I usually give it a blip now and again but I've been in jams for over an hour on a number of occasions
For overall mileage ( and if you should be worried) see my clutch thread

Everyone's gauges will probably read a little different, that is one of the things we accept owning TVRs. What you should be looking out for is a change in behaviour as you will be used to what your gauges rea and should know when something is not right. So FrancoTam - has your oil pressure dropped recently compared to last time the weather was warm? If so and your levels are OK then get it checked.
Hi Targarama. My pressures and temps have remain fairly constant and I agree with what you said in that all Tvr's will have different readings. I was just slightly concerned as some people seem to have readings of 65psi when mine dosent read any more than 40 ish. Just wandered if there was a valve that releases more oil flow at higher revs that maybe wasnt working on mine?

I suggest you get your garage to test the real pressure with a mechanical gauge.I had my oil pressure sender replaced around 4 years ago (the original single wire leaky version to the later 2 wire improved version). Before the hot oil pressure under revs would rarely go above 40psi. With the new part it usually sits around 60psi over 3,000rpm when nice and hot. The engine didn't change between fitting the two. It still hasn't blown up or shown a suffering for lack of oil anywhere either.

Weirdly.. I've subconsciously trained by right foot to put a little pressure on the pedal to maintain around 900rpm regardless of the engine temperature or air-con status..
