Speed Pulse Cable For Pioneer AVIC Satnav

For those that have installed this, any clues as to where the "speed pulse" is available on the T350? I must say I'm very tempted to leave it out; I'm sure it will work more than adequately. Any other installation hints gratefully received as well.

I'm sure that there was a thread along similar lines several months ago which I read with interest as I was considering going down that route myself.

I'm pretty sure that it was in this forum, but searches for 'speed pulse' or 'speed signal' don't return the thread - interestingly the search records only go back about 9 months, even if (in the advanced search) you set the thread age to 8 years...

Sorry I can't be of more help, but I'm 99.9% sure that the answers are here somewhere...

Might be worth giving Carl Baker a call, he installed the AVIC on the Cerb.

Having looked at a couple of AV forums I think you can get away without it, however you will be totally reliant on receiving a satellite signal for your positioning. With the speed pulse sensor connected it guesses your position if it cannot receive a signal (tunnels).
