WX03 GXN - anyone?

Do any of you have any knowledge of a Red Bull blue TVR T350 with the registration plate WX03 GXN?

It reminds me of the blue one that did the rounds with a nasty looking tattoo on the bonnet.

I don't know if it is that same car, but IIRC that particular car was a crash repaired car. So do a HPI check. The car in the ad is an early car, and needs that skanky mobile phone holder removing , the rusty steering wheel screws replacing and the carpets look tired (unavoidable with this colour trim). It has the earlier style glovebox lid. That's about all I can say from what I see here.

So it needed a retrim then - the one in the ad looks OK though.

I thought it looked similar to the tatooed bonnet one from a while back and if it is that one then i'll avoid it like the plague!

I'm waiting on a reply from the seller and if a HPI check reveals it's been crashed and repaired then i'll dump it and continue my search.

The only reason I was interested in it is because I am looking for a donor T350 that I can use for an LS conversion. (a mongrel in some peoples eyes)

If it is crash-repaired and you get to see the damage pics and the repair is good then it might make a good donor car for you. After all, you are planning to bstardize the car anyway...

Steady...... I'm not SOLD on the LS conversion yet and I may just take the car to Dom and get a 4.3 rebuild to keep it original (well, as close to original as a 4.3 Speed Six engined T350 can be)

Doing the sums, the LS conversion all in would probably cost very close to a rebuilt 4.3 with a rebuilt gearbox and new clutch anyway.

The thing that appeals to me going the original route is that Dom will give me a 5 year warranty and I dont know WHAT the warranty on an LS conversion would be!

Is that price just for the engine or "complete" with transmission, starter etc?

if anyone is still reading this post, then this was my old car. So if anyone wants to know about it then let me know.

it was never crashed (not when I had it anyway) - and I bought it ex demo straight from a TVR dealer in Bristol who had it from new.

I'[ve since seen the add you've talked about and well, the mileage was higher than that when i sold it!
