[/URL]I think everyone has similar problems with the glove box lid. If you search this site with the word glovebox you come up with some suggestions of how to fix the catch and reshape the lid. It's not that difficult. If you go down the route of fixing something to the back of the lid in order to re-shape it then be carefull of how you position any clamps you use to hold it in place while the glue sets as they can leave marks in the leather.
Mine has velco patches, it's fits perfect with even gaps. something to note on the glovebox is that mine blocked the air vent, I wasn't happy with the air coming out of the vent below it, after a lot of messing I took the vent oultet off (glued in place) the plastic vent outlet locating spigot had been cut down, couldn't understand why then look into the hole to see the bottom of the glove box 5mm from the opening??? now modified the glovebox bottom to allow better air flow but it has a hump in the bottom now.
I had a go at this problem tonight. After a bit of playing around what i did was put another screw through the back of the glove box, next to the hinge for the lid, lifting it up slightly. I'm very happy with the result and the lid now stays shut and fits almost perfectly
Don't no if this was correct thing to do but it has stopped contents of glove box falling out as i go and i used the same small screws that were used in the corners, so really can't tell i've been at it

I had exactly the same problem with my Tamora. Having tried various methods I discovered that Racing Green have the replacement glove box lids in stock. I then took my old glove box lid off and sent it along with the new lid to a leather trimmers. They swapped the leather from the old bent one onto the new one. At the same time I discovered that the root of problem are the springs that push the glove box lid open. They seem to be far stronger than needed. Therefore I took both spins out. It meant that the glove box lid didn't stay open but when do you drive around with it permanently open. Fitted the new lid when it arrived back from the trimmers.

I bought a spare lid from rg, the later spec lids seem smaller than the earlier ones (on my car...without the finger recess)
The new one was a different fit to the old which was perfect so i didnt use it.
For sale if someone wants one, im still also looking at getting these done in carbon

I tried this and found that it stopped the jiggling but didn't open as widely as before.
What I have done (rather STR8SIX have done) is unhinge the unit completely and put 5 pieces of velcro on the inside lip. Problems solves, sits absolutely flush and no stupid openings or noises!
Being a bit of a perfectionist with my cars, the glove box and sunvisor were driving me nuts, both solved the same way!
