Wheel Arch Paint

Sorry all....I've seen this on a thread recently but can't find it.

Need to paint the flaky wheel arch's, what to use? any particular guidance please?

I want to get this done before I get the wheels repaired and suspension/brakes cleaned up.

carplan tetroseal is what i used as per varleyhyd sagaris bible.worked a treat on mine

Rightly or wrongly, I used Waxoyl. The original coating flaked off way too easily so I decided, since Waxoyl is a wee bit more flexible, that I'd do the arches in that. Seems to have held up really well over the past 18 months.

Hi Al

I used Hammerite with waxoyl. Its the stuff in the black tin which you can paint on.

Did a good job. Will try and post some pics for you when I get 5 minutes.
