Didn`t think I would ever say this but the Saggie is going, absolutley love the car to bits, the looks the speed the acceleration, but I can no longer put up with boy racers climbing in my boot at some stage nearly every time I go out, being flashed at times when overtaking like I am some maniac, pot holes speed cameras, I have also had snide remarks from what I would call do gooding tree hugging green c***s.Even school kids are being preached to that anybody driving a car are like a cancer on the planet, had enough,the whole point of having the car was the massive amount of pleasure it gave...which has now gone,I used to go out for a blast and come back destressed and happy, now more often than not I come back irratated.I have had 5+ years of huge excitement with the saggie and prior to that my Tuscan S and managed to keep a clean licence so I count myself lucky, but it must go now its just to dogdy out there now.
Hi Blackiepaul, I think you are probabley right about moving further north, it is definatley more aggressive the further south you go, I live near the Slough area... need I say more.I began to notice it a year or so ago, I found where the car used to delight people it now seems to offend them, A bit like how porsches and ferraries used to. Its taken all the pleasure out of owning the car.

Thats not fair! I live in Windsor (with an SL postcode) I dont think it's anything to do with the Slough area per se, I think it's just more to do with jealousy in general than the Sag. I dont think the abuse is limited to southern Britain either, I went to see my mum in Derby a while back when I had a 2007 Golf GTi and I was called a flash b
d by some yoof types.All in all, you shouldnt let other people have an effect on your own happiness. Sod em, give em a blip of the throttle, smile and drive on!
Nagra, your probabley right, not just Slough in general, I think peoples attitude towards cars has changed dramaticly in the last few years, I`m just very p****d off about it.You must know the road coming back past Ascot race course towards Windsor, I over took a car along there that was doing about 45mph and was flashed by a car coming towards me Like I was some kind of lunatic which must of been a quarter of a mile away, Its that type thing I find happening more and more thats cheesed me off, In the Hudson I wont be able to over take anybody, it`ll just hold people up.
some people just dont want to get out the way.I would think very carefully before you sell your Sag... You will regret it im sure.. Trust me I sold mine back in November and Im still totally gutted about it! Especially when I keep seeing the damn thing either at Chatsworth or Track V Road when its getting serviced.. Very depressing... Just look how rare they are becoming there's only about 4-5 for sale in the UK at the moment Im sure someones buying them all and stockpiling them.

Great shame that you feel like this, one of the reasons we got a TVR was because people seem to enjoy seeing them, was worried about people giving nasty remarks with the other cars we considered so opted for a TVR, only had good responses from passers by so far, had a fantastic trip back from oulton park the other day, that trip alone blew me away with how great a car they are an amazed me how many people smile,wave, thumps up etc Could of drove all night

Sorry to hear/see this. In 12 years of TVRing I have only had one nasty person, 10+ years ago a chav in a modded Escort who was in front of me in my Chimaera and thought he was cool zooming along, gave me the finger. Geesh, I was just following him (Stoke Poges to Wexham road ... hmm near Slough). I have never had problems in normal driving, I find motorway traffic clears out the way for me as I approach (compared to our BRIGHT RED Golf GTi which is invisible apparently).
Not had a problem at all since getting my T350t, actually at Durham services last weekend I literally had to fight my way through 50 Japanese tourists who got off a coach and must have thought my car was the attraction.. They were all taking pictures, peeking in, posing next to it.. but were very friendly.
Maybe it's a more northern thing (I'm in Newcastle), but I get good comments where ever I go.. never had a bad word said against it, park it anywhere and people come over and ask about it.. Chavs in their boy racer cars actually tend to give you a thumbs up or a respectful nod and smile as you go past them.

Think this is a bit of a Sag thing. Cerb ownership has never attracted the wrong sort of attention for me. The opposite. Happy to leave car in the street on a daily basis.
Have considered a Sag myself more than once, and have thought about how comfortable I would be behind the wheel. I have always felt the styling would attract the big green eyed monster stare the same as fezzas and have shyed away.
