Tamora roof bag

Evening all, I'm 1 month into my Tamora ownership and having a great time - despite the lack of sun. However, I'm still getting the knack of dropping the roof panel in and out, in seems easier than out for some reason and the whole process seems pretty unfriendly to seals and edges etc.
There was no roof bag with my car (don't know if they come with one) so I was wondering if there was someone who knocked them out? The only thing I've found is a Leven one size fits all type bag for 50 odd quid. If not I might buy some material and my old Mum to knock one up for me as she's handy with a sewing machine

No roof bag is supplied for the Tam. The roof fits easier with the curve to the top RH down first. I siliconed the rubber roof seals in so it does not pull them out when putting the roof in/out of the boot.There was no roof bag with my car (don't know if they come with one) so I was wondering if there was someone who knocked them out? I too have a Leven bag. Does scuff up on the corners, but mine has lasted 5 years (with some gaffer tape protection on certain corners).
When I got my Tam, I was told about a mod to the boot lid strutt, so that the lid opens a few more degrees. This makes it much easier to get the roof in and out. It consisted of inserting a couple of washers on the screw threads on the gas strut. You might want to see if yours has been modded (if that was a word).

Thanks all, might try one of those 2 bags and I'll have a look at modding the strut, as a few degrees more would make all the difference when taking it out.
I'm not ashamed to admit that when we first got the roof off and tried to put it in the boot we spent about 10 mins staring and angling and wondering how something wider than the boot opening would fit in the boot - even though I'd seen it in the boot before.
Not that needing to get the roof is much of an issue at the moment. Bleeding weather
