Fitting boot badge on a Tamora

My boot badge was looking a little tatty (corroded) and I managed to pick up one of the metal ones off fleabay. Went to fit it today and that was where I hit my problem, no little access panel to get to the mechanism/bolts, just lots of bonded carpet.
After a good look around and several internet searches I came to the conclusion that this is one to chalk up to TVR idiosyncracies and that it was time to break out the stanley knife. 3 cuts later and I had the access I needed, the only problems I had from there were making a foam backing pad and judging the right thickness of the foam and the right bolt tightness to avoid the boot being released by blowing on the badge.
New badge looks great but the quality of the old one was just crap!
