Just perusing the classifieds as one does and I saw a lovely pair (oo-er) of pipes, can anyone enlighten me as to the make/cost/loudness etc. I currently have the Power cans which are extremely loud.

The pipes are the same as mine, Blueflame. Way better than the standard pipes and quieter than the power pipes. I like them. Bought mine about 3 years ago, cost was about the same as the other aftermarket pipes iirc.

This is the blueflame exhaust. I have one fitted to my car. My car can also be seen demonstrating it on youtube. It is only slightly louder than standard but you get the pops and bangs. I like it because you do here the engine and not noise. Also you can talk to your passenger without shouting.

I don't think they sell them anymore but you could try and see if they have any hidden away.

Thanks both will look into them...I'd rather keep what I have as I love the noise but am sure it's making me deaf (wimp I know), plus I love the look and angle of the BF pipes.

No the hanger position and orientation is different for the Tam.

Anyways... Power cans rule if not a little loud and anti-social!

I agree, just love the appearance/angle of the BlueFlame...and was suffering from hearing issues but after a spirited drive earlier can confirm that seems to be ok now

Gave a friend a lift and he described the sound as being an angry noise
