T350 Passenger Side Indicator Wiring

Hope someone can answer this one!

I had the passenger side indicator out yesterday and had hung the connector on the edge of the hole (forgot to tape it in place). Went to get something from my toolbox and brushed past it and, you guessed it, the connector and wiring fell inside the body! Now, am I right in thinking that I need to get into the battery compartment and then there should be a panel in there that gives me access to the blower motor and hopefully the indicator wiring?

Feeling pretty stupid right now!
