Tried a search and no results so can someone tell me where I can get the cut outs done on the wing vents on a sag.
Also any options on rear light cluster mods, different lights covers etc
.Remember something about the formula red car near warwick changing the lights Keifh?
Both the above are on my to do list, but its two years since I had a sag and cant remember all the info
help appreciated!

You need PDQ in blackpool, Paul Seymore to do the slats as per the pic below. Yes Kiefh has vectra center brake lights within his clusters at the top. I am interested in changing mine so I would be intereted in hearing about anything you find out.

Any contact details for PDQ? Are they on Bristol Avenue or elsewhere?

OK buddy I know where they are now. Will see them this Saturday as I do my morning tour of the factory. Are you going this weekend? I have entered the sprint on Sunday.

Raceproved will do it. I'm having mine cut out there later this year.

No disprespect to Raceproved as I haven't seen their mod but I know PDQ spent quite a bit of money in developing the inserts
for their cutouts and the mod can be done without damaging the paintwork so I'd suggest having a look at Paul's car before you take the plunge. LD

Ah, thanks v much for this. I'll check it out. The main difference seems to be RP will do mesh ones, but requires a respray thus much more expensive. This looks a good option too smile

This is the issue I ran into as well. Pauls are very well made and are stunning workmanship..... but I can't get over the idea of mesh in the cut outs.

If you have the rubber inserts, are these removeable for any aerodynamic gain or are they simply a rubber bung with a drain hole giving the impression your car actually has performance slats?

Well, for me it is just to improve the way the old gal looks. As I'm not likely to take her racing any time soon - it doesn't matter.

It would be interesting to hear from anyone who has had mesh versions put in - or even better still - pictures smile

I've seen the pics of Paul's work and they do indeed look great, but not seen any examples of the mesh versions yet.

I'll have a hunt around and if I find any I'll post them.

Thanks

"Sportie" has mesh on his as he had it done when he had his Sag rebuilt. What you do not get with the mesh is what you get on the above photo. Without the mesh you can look straight through the side of the slat and it makes it look cut out, with the mesh it fills the gap still and does not look carved. Personal choice I am sure.

Does anyone know the answer to this? Is the pressure in the wheel arch reduced with any of these modifications?
