Sag has grown nostrils

The car has been fine on driving around town and the motorway but thought it best to try and get some air extra into the front of the car especially due to the amount it goes on track.

I have noticed a number of the Sag drivers now have grills under their number plates which they remove for the track or when it gets hot.

We wanted to experiment so we have put these in temporarily. Their profile (depth) is a bit to big but I will replace them over the winter with carbon ones which will match the new bonnet etc.

Yep they only feed the rads. I have oil cooling rads in the outer gaps of the splitter which do a great job, I also have a huge hole above my splitter which feeds the air into the air box which you can just see in the picture.

We have moved the inside splitter slightly to aid air flow as well. As I say they are only there until I get something else which will be the winter project but we needed to see if there were any effects whilst the weather is still warm.

That's a great idea for trackdays and so easy, have you meshed the holes up to stop anything damaging the rad?

Hi Mark,

I bought the gauze to go in them but there is no point, the same amount of crap would go up the side first vent as much as these. As I say they are only temp for now. I know I can make a better looking option.
