This appears to be black leather with some parts picked out in purple. Also has the newer tuscan seats

I don't understand as they are a very reputible dealer. Maybe coincidence and they simply don't know?
I had a visit at RG in Feb. 2008 and there was a Cascade Sag with totally "destroyed" front end. Couldn't remember the plates, but if there are only 3 Cascades out there, it must be the one from RG!
But 2 years for a rebuilt?!?
Try to find some pics of this destroyed Sag, maybe you can see the interior on it...

Chances are that was my old one, the time scales fit anyway.
I dont know exactly how much of this is true but from what I heard RG sold it to a guy from around Southampton. He upgraded from a T350 and roughly a week after owning it he lost control on a motorway slip road and ended up in the armco... apparently he was on his way back from picking his brother up from hospital!
Dont hold me to any of this being fact, its just what I've heard...

Didn't they do a similar thing with a T350? Orange one IIRC, it was expensive anyway and had no mention of an accident. Strangely after a thread on PH the garage in question then changed the ad to include the full details.
I may be totally wrong on this (old age affects the memory somewhat) so am happy to remove this post if so.

In my experience, and there have been a few with rg, things can be a little inconsistent, honesty and upfront are not expressions I would use for them I'm sad to say, they have a tendancy to over price and under deliver and their aftercare lags behind a number of their competitors. I'm trying to stay the right side of the rules

That was PHer Carl-rfc's car, well over a year ago. There was a thread started by someone titled something like 'Overpriced' (do a search). As far as I am concerned, as long as the garage makes the potential purchaser aware of an accident repair when viewing/before purchase then that is fine. Whether this info needs to be in the actual advert is debateable.
As we all know, with such a small community for T cars, so long as the buyer is savvy enough to use the Internet, then will find us and ask (heck, I would if it were my £40k).

IIIRC a 30k bill on a 43k car wouldnt write it off. I bet there are thousands of mercs, jags, range rovers etc around that have had repair bills that size and bigger and simply been repaired rather than written off.
thats what makes the whole at cat C stigma laughable.
a new ish car can have a huge amount of damage repaired and not be classified, and yet I've heard of perfectly good rovers being written off due to damaged or stolen alloy wheels!!.
legally, unless specifically asked i dont think any dealer is required to mention accident damage if repired... morally however there may be a difference in such a small market..
I must admit though with such small numbers made I'd rather see cars rebuilt than scrapped.

Thank you Graham for a moment of clarity! I can only echo that sentiment - I know if I crashed my Sag, I would have it repaired. I also wouldn't mention it in the advert, but would tell everyone when they came to see it, or anyone who called me about it.

Fully agree with you Don, I have had very few dealings with RG, but the ones I have had have been very good, no complaints here When Carl's T350 was repaired and sold by RG, the advert then didn't say anything about it, but I know they did tell the viwers and buyers of the car.

As I collected my Chim from its service at RG yesterday(leaving the Tuscan for them to service too) I had a very close look at the cascade Sag they have. I tell you, it looks bloody gorgeous. It looks perfect, and if i had the money, and the garage space, repairs or not, i would seriously consider adding that to my fleet. Price? well, the haggling has to start somewhere 
RG have looked after my TVRs for nearly 5 years now, during which they have done all sorts of work for me,and i wouldn't go anywhere else. Efficient, professional, honest... and nice blokes too
