I sold my T350c a few weeks back and I'm missing it like crazy already. I'm planning to buy/build a monster track/sprint car and one of those on my list is a fully stripped and lightened T350c with a monster power plant. (Probably 500ish bhp v8) sequential box and trick suspension.
So, I'm on the look out for a cheap/tatty/blown up/damaged car if anyone knows of such a vehicle please keep me in mind
It sure will be more fun than just buying a GT3 out the box!

Yeah I saw that but without sounding rude to the seller I think it's a bit overpriced. I'd preferably like one that's never had the chassis repaired and also finding a complete door would be very tricky. On a side note I've been offered a nice but cheap Tamora. Possible speedster conversion!?

Agreed, way overpriced. From what I can see there is a fair bit of work needed.gilbo said:

its overpriced indeed...me thinks 7.5K max.anyway, a Tamora conversion? maybe nice too but, I would not put many euro's in such car, the T350c is a way better car/model to put some extra's on like a LS engine
I can understand you missing it, I'm loving it! It had to go in for a new clutch last week and I couldn't wait to get it back.
Good luck finding your new project, you mentioned doing a stripped out track car project when I picked the car up and I can understand the desire to do that as it coudl make a seriosuly fun car for that.

I was at a "Driving Experience" track day recently and one of the instructors claimed they had a "rough" T350C for sale at £7.5k but it was on the other side of the circuit where they stored their cars at night and so I didn't get to see it. Might be misinformation but on the other hand it might be true and just what you are looking for.

Clutch went after about 350/400 miles. No sign of any issues until about 350 miles in and then one day on a long trip to Chichester the gears started getting stiff to engage and got worse through the day. Got it checked over with the rest of the car straight after and informed it did indeed need a new clutch. Booked it in for a few days later and then it failed properly when I was putting it in the garage that night!
Apart from that though and a few very minor little bits it got a thumbs up from John at Sussex TVR who said it was a good car so I'm happy.
It gave me an excuse to get an uprated clutch and RaceProved slave cyclinder in, the old clutch had 5 broken fingers on it but was still the original so had done well to get to 30k.

I've managed to locate said vehicle. It's a pearl yellow T350 with a Sagaris rear end! No it hasn't particularly got to be. I've been looking at many makes and models....I just love my TVR's! Especially the look and feel off T350
There's a 700bhp escort cosworth tarmac spec racer near me which is cheap and tempting! 911's float my boat too and exiges but there really is nothing like a TVR. Throw an LS in the mix and you really are cooking on gas!

I had a Fury with a Honda Blackbird engine in. 440 kgs 178 bhp and a sequential box. It was an absolute hoot, though totally impractical for the road. Just imagine it with an AJP...i'm thinking about a track day car and been looking at the fisher fury, they can have a bike or car engine as well as a V8.

I really like the thought of building it myself but don't want to bite off more than i can chew. It would only be used as a track car with the occasional sunday blast. I have my TVR for day use
