Hoping for some advice on a Tamora in ads

Seriously toying with the idea of jumping back into TVR ownership, it being a couple of years since I had a T350.

Am I missing something? £12,000? Seems ever so cheap.

Unfortunately the search is off line so I couldn't look to see if the car had already been discussed.

Price looks good to me based on age and miles, recent service (call APM and ask about it) ask vendor about service history (should be 9 stamps based on age) its got 12 months ticket so passed the MOT. Ask about the re-spray - cosmetic or to repair damage? vic check will also help. Ask about the engine has it had any work or need any work (it might not as they don't all go pop!)

Ask plenty of questions and if it seems good to you, get it looked at by a respected TVR garage. If its still all good get your pennies out and buy it if thats the car you like.

No mention of Aircon but I don't have it and its not too much of an issue, and you will have to lay out £210 for road tax. Clutch is 3yrs old so it may not have 1000's miles left in it but it dependy on how much its been driven since then and the mechanical sympathy its been shown.

Yeah, I've kept my eye on the classifieds for a while now. There have been a few Tams cropping up around the £13k mark. A lot of car for the money.

There does seem to have been a recent surge from buyers over the summer with most of them being snapped up.

You really need to go and have a look. I've enquired about and viewed several over the last few months prior to purchasing mine and found, condition, history and price varies tremendously. What I've seen and heard hasn't always been the case when I've turned up for a closer look.

On the face of it it seems a very good price, so worth following up.

No pictures of the interior though, and the exterior shots are poor quality so difficult to tell condition, and how it has been looked after

Also, 34k on an early 2002 car with no work to the engine, you would need to ensure all is running well and service schedule has been fully maintained. Unfortunately there is no way of telling if previous owners have always rigorously warmed the engine before pushing it.

I'm only a newbie so possibly some more advice will be along soon.
