Strange Vibration???

I had a strange vibration the other day whilst out in the T350.

I was in traffic with the a/c on and noticed the engine making a different sound than normal then started getting a slight vibration through the pedals.

Didn't get any warnings come up on the dash and everything looked fine with regards to readings.

Anyway, I turned the a/c and the noise and vibration stopped.

Obviously it's an a/c issue but anyone have any ideas as to why and how to fix?

This may be the alternator drive belt or the pump itself having trouble. You can just peep at the belt tucked way back under the airbox in around the same location but lower down than the oil pressure sender. Best get it checked.

Will it cause a problem even if I don't use the air con or should it be checked out straight away?

I'd rather wait until I need a service / some other work done before taking it back. Getting the Oxford tube there and back is a PITA.

Well if there is no problem when the aircon is turned off I'd say you're OK to leave it. Or you could just call and drop by for Jason's team to have a quick look and make sure its OK. You can see if the belt is buggered yourself. I believe that when the aircon is off this pump/belt are not engaged (I've never looked that closely but that should be how it works).
