I've got a problem.

I just keep driving the car. I'm putting on far too many miles than I should be - but I'll go out for a drive, almost get home, then decide to go past my house and carry on - having far too much fun to stop.

Is there a fix?

Above quote is one reason our family has three TVRs. Another reason is I don't think another person would appreciate a TVR that is for sale as much as our family will, so I buy them when I find them for sale. Glad I don't live in the UK as I don't have enough money to scratch my itch.

This ^^^^ they behave much better when used frequently, why worry about the mileage, asuming you bought it to enjoy it

So how does it compare to your old Z4 then? What about the Z4M Coupe? Those Coupes are lovely cars, just too cramped inside for me.

Never drove the Z4M so can't compare.

It's better in every way, except one - ease of daily use, but then that's why I bought the TVR, because I now have a Company car too.

The Z4 was a great all-rounder, there was enough power (3.0i 230bhp), the roof was easy, it was comfortable, it was reliable, it was nice to drive – but it just wasn’t special by the end of my ownership.

The TVR betters it in all of those ways, looks, power, handling etc – but it wouldn’t like (or I wouldn’t want) to use it daily in all conditions like the Z4 could. I don’t even like to park it anywhere!

I would happily own another one, but only if I needed a compromise.

it till it is worn out then rebuild and start again, sorted!!!!!

I also have this problem, the only thing that stops me is the rain and with winter on the way is a good thing for me lol
