350C on order....
Discussion
Ok, I dont know how this happened....
...one minute I was looking at a second hand car, and the next minute I had just placed an order on a BRAND NEW T350C !!!!!
All sorts of niggles and doubts - from the colour combo I've chosen, to whether I can actually afford the bloomin thing!!
Hopefully they will all be washed away when I actually take delivery though..... ...Someone tell me I did the right thing?!!!

Wow, yours looks great!!
Ive gone for something a little more "conservative", but which I hope will look just as good....
Car: Orient Blue Pearl.... very deep but gorgeous blue...... and Anthracite alloys...
Interior: Prussian Blue & Portland Grey with Lamonta door lower door panels & seat inserts, and navy blue carpets....
Prussian blue: Dash tops, centre console, radio surround, gaitors, seats, steering cowl.
Charcoal Lamonta (very close to Prussian Blue): Lower door panels, seat inserts and headlining.
Portland Grey: Lower dash, lower seat contrast, headrest contrast, door-tops, roll-cage, & boot lining (inc luggage cover unit...)
Hope it looks as good in real life as it does in my head!!

Hi mjc, well done! you wont regret it. bought mine in january. Ive just had the 1000 mile service and can start to open it up a little. You will probably have a few niggles on delivery Ive had ingress of rainwater into footwells and condensation in the light clusters. Its a TVR thing, that can easily be fixed by the dealer.Regards to anthracite wheels I think silver wheels look better on a blue car, more of a contrast, but then again im biased

Hi,
Firstly, well done! Like valhalla, we have had our T350C since last May and I can promise you, you will not regret it. We struggled to find the dosh but, no kidding, it was a life-defining decision and has added immeasurably to our happiness.
On a lighter note, I'd second the view about anthracite wheels. Also, the majority of the detail on the T350 is black, and it looks better with a lighter colour that will contrast with those details (especially the front lights, side window profiles, rear lights and heat vent holes across the diffuser. I chose Red Bull blue (see my profile or here) for pics) but have just had it resprayed at the factory (no pics yet!) in Vauxhall Space green (a light silver based mint green) and it looks 10 times better - absolutely stunning.

Thanks Rolex & Snakes - I take your points about the lighter colours and the anthracite wheels, and do agree they look very good and do show off certain aspects of the design in a much better way. In fact I think the paint/wheel combo can completely change the character of the car - I suppoose its all down to personal individual taste at the end of the day!!
I did something very similar. I was supposed to have had it with expensive cars having had too many, lost a fortune and been disappointed by many of them. Don't even mention the word Ferrari - what a crock of crap! I bought a nice Honda S2000, reliable, convertible, won't threaten the licence etc......then I saw the Sagaris. Completely against my will I ended up writing out a cheque and ordering one.
TVR have mastered the art of making cars out of pure desirability. They are doing things no other manufacturer has the balls to do and we should be proud they're British owned and built. In terms of styling and performance they put the likes of Ferrari and Porsche to shame. A 911 is a bland egg compared to a T350 and all the joy of owning such a beast of a car apart, you should congratulate yourself on supporting such an innovotive, spirited Brtish company! Bravo!

As for colour and wheels have a look at the titanium one on HLGorner's website. It''s got the anthracite wheels and looks stunning to me at least. It looks more similar to the Sagaris, ie more aggressive with the grey wheels. Top choice. I'm starting to think it's what I should have ordered!
