Klicking noise

I have got a clicking noise from the driver side rear when i pull away from stationary. Its not there all the time has anyone else experienced this?

a ball joint or bush no doubt.

Could be many things. My first check would be loose/moving brake pads. Check the wheel nuts are tight and the wheel centre cap isn't rattling too (simple things first!).
