Carbon endcans

it would give a better idea of how they look.

with respect to simons car they are too short, I had some and sent them back as they just looked like they were not fillign the space, this is only my opinion of course

I do like the carbon effect, however I feel that the ends would look better if the stainless part were slash cut like the originals, the rounded ends to me personally look more at home on the tuscan as you see them end on.

Where did you buy them and when. How long were the carbon sleeves if you don't mind me asking.

As per this photo they look too short. When measured next to the origonals they are quite a bit shorter, I really wanted some carbon effect ones but I went against the idea - as said all in my own opinion of course.

Thanks for the pic, I loved Garrys nebula Sag, but was too late to catch it this winter! Now I will do a respray in mate black next year and I think, those cans will look fine...

I thought I saw this car outside RG (or it may be another one), but yes, my thought is that I loved the concept, but they were just too short...

More to the point, what do they sound like ? Much louder than the standards ? Presume they are as straight through, and if so is that an issue for MoT ?

There are two types, sleeved and non sleeved so it depends which type. I sent mine back the day I got them as they were to short but they should sound pretty much the same.

Mine are standard and straight through so I doubt there would be any difference.

Although this Sag is rather smashed up, it does have a couple of clear pics as to what the carbon cam ends look like on another one as well - see pic 7 & 11.

They do look good, although from pic 11 you can see why it might look a little short.

Another possible upgrade for the spring I think...

I just got hold of a pair of these for the Sag. Measured them up and they seem fine. Will probably fit them sometime over the winter period and see what they sound like.
