Hello all - no problem with letting people sit next to me it is fun. Got to say I was not my usual self yesterday and did hold back, it was damp, I had worn 888's on and I only landed from Chicago at 7:00 that morning. I took the car up to late 180's according to the GPS a number of times but I was not able to keep my foot totally in on any of the runs due to the damp and not being able to stop at the end or I would have gone into the parked cars. On the run on the link below I just took it up to a decent-ish speed and then just ran it at that until the beams.

Yep my wing is about 2 cm's smaller than standard, I would have taken it off if the weather was better. To me in those conditions 186-189 was comfortable then slow down with about 1/4 mile left to go. The car will make 200 in the dry.tail slide said:

Yep a couple got into the 200's. I was very very tempted to give it a go but my sensible side (which does not come out very often) held me back. I could not get any traction in 1st, 2nd and 3rd was terrible and braking was not fun - it will do 200 next time as long as it is dry.I hear that Jez got his LS7-turbo Monaro to a very scary 206mph there, so if you're tempted.....

I put a strap from one of the chassis rails around one of the bars of the service bonnet, it never moved a mm and will not at 200 either.Edited by blackiepaul on Sunday 21st November 21:57

DeR sent me a random pic of a Saggy and said some bloke reckoned he had an LS in it...figured it must have been you Was waiting to here what you did, shame about the damp and lack of runs.
Interesting about your flap, it was a crap pic DeR sent me, I could see you still had a flap on and I was wondering if you were still running standard. How are you finding the reduced flap? I always said that knocking the size down (top of my head I cant remember what I knocked off the height) reduced the drag it was producing by about 90% and gave you 5-7mph back.
Be good to hear you crack the double when its dry.

Would be could to get a ride out in the dry to see what it really can do. Traction was a nightmare, even in my standard T350 i was struggling for traction in 3rd. Will get some vids of mine up when Max sends me a disc.
