Odr electrical problem.

Just had an odd electrical problem. The digital dash appears to have crashed the display is stuck displaying the warning about the clock having failed. The clock has been failed for a while.

The most odd thing about this is that the display does not cancel when the key is removed this will eventuality drain the battery. The heating controls are also failing to respond.

Any ideas?

Hi,
This happened me once when i had my T350. I simply removed the fuse for the dash in the main fuse box which killed the power to it and so switched it off. Then replaced it again and never had a problem since - i recon its just some sort of a software jam.

The dash managed to drain the battery in one working day. It managed one half hearted attempt to start the car and then I had to bump start it on a hill.

This appears to have cured it, pulling the fuse would have been easier
