T350 Door Hinge Adjustment

Hi,

Not long had my T350c and its a fantastic car - cant rate the ride highly enough - just itching for a bit of dry road now - after the ~month of snow/rain.

Anyhow... during the rain, I noticed the passenger footwell was wet - after investigating i've identified the source of the leak to be a mis-alignment of the passenger door.

This is leaving a very small gap between the top of the window (righthand, top corner of the window)and the body work. I've plugged it with blutak - mainly to ensure this was the only leak - and it appears to be.

Judging by comparing the gaps with the drivers door - i'd say the passenger door has dropped ~5mm.


Are there any resources explaining how to adjust the T350 door hinges?? I've had a little nose around this forum and the wider internet and not found anything that covers the hinges. I'm not particularily mechanically minded - I am however more than willing to give things ago - just would prefer to be armed with as much info as possible before taking a spanner to the door?!!

If the door has dropped that much I would expect it to be rubbing on the bottom/sill?
My money is on the window glass not being optimally alligned. The Glass sits in a cradle attached to the winder mech and each side is guided by runners, its possible to adjust the runner position to alter the hieght angle of the glass. Careful though as if it gets too misaligned you may stress the glass and cause it to shatter.
Mine shattered without apparent reason though I suspect it was set too high and was under stress when the door was shut.
Fitting new glass was a labour of love and if you not patient you may end up more buggered,and new glass seems tobe in short supply from the experience I had getting a replacement. Personally I'd get someone whose more familiar with the fun that it entails to check it out.

I have exactly the same problem except no major door misalignment so I'd agree that window is more likely as the cause. I tend not to bother much when it's raining so I'm not doing anything about it.
